Professionals from parks, trails, open space organizations, local, statewide, and national businesses, governmental entities and media consultants, and educational and medical representatives —if you love the outdoors, this event is for you!

Hear from influencers in the industry and stay informed about current outdoor issues through educational tracks and panel discussions. Network with business and organizational leaders working to support the outdoors.

To summarize: Greet familiar faces, tackle emerging issues, create new partnerships, and play outside together!

Through programming, networking, and outdoor activities, this event focuses on how we strengthen our communities and the outdoor economy and improve health and quality of life for all Michiganders. Session focus areas include conservation and stewardship, education and workforece training, economic development, public health and wellness, and diversity and inclusion.

Of course! We’ll have common dietary options available before the welcoming session and snacks prior to the NA happy hour.

More spaces then the venue has capacity for!

Yes! The venue, including restrooms, are all ADA accessible.

Networking is half the fun. Make friends and swap stories before the welcoming session, in between sessions, and at the NA happy hour.

Think outdoor casual. Expect to see a lot of flannels and vests. Bottom line, dress for comfort and for the unpredictable Michigan weather.

The day before (10/9) we’ll be offering a field experience and a technical session. In the evening, the Summit will kick-off in conjunction with The Boardman Review’s Fall Release Party.
