Dan appreciates the collective impact that natural resources, recreation, and the environment have on a community’s quality of life, local economy, and sense of place. As the director of environment and natural resources at Public Sector Consultants, Dan works closely with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders to strategically develop solutions grounded in strong relationships and a clear understanding of the issues at hand. His current portfolio includes identifying sustainable funding and organizational models to support conservation and recreation across Michigan, developing and implementing natural resource-based grant programs, and convening stakeholder networks to align on shared goals. Prior to joining PSC, Dan served as chief of the Finance and Operations Division for the Michigan Department of Natural Resources.
