Ross Hammersley

Olson & Howard, P.C.

Ross is an attorney and partner at Olson & Howard, P.C. in Traverse City, Michigan, where he focuses on environmental law. He currently chairs the Environmental Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan and serves on the boards of TART Trails, Heart of the Lakes, and previously chaired the board of Traverse City Light & Power.

Before law, Ross worked in environmental advocacy, campaign organizing, restoration ecology, and education with groups like Environment California, the Audubon Society, and YMCA Storer Camps. He also gained legal experience with the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality, and Frank, Haron & Weiner, PLC.

Ross holds a degree in ecology and natural resource management from the University of Michigan and a law degree from Michigan State University College of Law, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Michigan State Law Review.
